Bodrum's well established tourism based infrastructure easily provides all the local services required by the MICE industry.

Accommodation
It almost goes without saying that Bodrum is well served with hotels, that said, the type of hotel required to host corporate events must be more than a regular tourist hotel. It is true to say that ten years ago the number of hotels in the Bodrum region able to accommodate every aspect of a conference or seminar were very limited. That is not the case today, the recent rapid expansion of Bodrum has seen a commensurate influx of major international chain hotels all fully capable of hosting the most demanding corporate event.

Bodrum is seasonal, so the main summer season is not a practical time to consider any kind of corporate event other than small group, brainstorming breaks. But, the early and late summer season and the winter season are ideal, providing a good choice of accommodation and an infrastructure capable of handling much larger numbers than any corporate event would demand.

As part of our restructuring to accommodate MICE activities in our overall portfolio we have compiled a database of all suitable hotels in the region as well as a manifest of their facilities. We are therefore well placed to knowledgably advise international event organizers which hotel is most suitable for any specific event.

Après Convention
When the three MICE requirements of transportation, local services and accommodation have been met, elements which are more or less the same wherever the venue, the final choice of location has to be the what the location itself has to offer, it is this element that makes Bodrum unique from all other locations.

We like to call this element ‘Après Conference’ and Bodrum has to do nothing other than just be what it is, Bodrum, a popular holiday destination that has always been favored by tourists. It's a dynamic, cosmopolitan city with a vibrant nightlife, every type of watersport, international class restaurants and yet is just minutes away from tranquil countryside, unspoiled rural villages and a host of ancient, historical sites.

In the Bodrum region it's possible to experience every aspect of what Turkey has to offer from modern sophistication to an unspoiled rural scene that is not too different from how it was fifty years ago, all in a single day.

The Bodrum region is not just about tourism it also produces olive oil, wine and handmade carpets, a visit to where these products are made by traditional methods is entertaining, instructive and great fun.
